Borçelik
Borçelik was established in 1990 as the first private and second-largest flat steel manufacturer in Türkiye. With an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons, it manufactures 600 thousand tons of cold-rolled steel and 900 thousand tons of hot-dip galvanized steel. It holds the position of being the largest and highest-quality galvanized steel manufacturer in Türkiye.
Through its Kerim Çelik brand, Borçelik has introduced the Steel Service Center concept to Türkiye and currently maintains a metal processing capacity of 500 thousand tons. Its Gemlik plant is the first ResponsibleSteel™ certified production facility in Türkiye.
Operating across 5 different locations as a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Borusan Holding, Borçelik leads the sector through its efforts focused on sustainability and social value.
